You are ill. You're worn out. Additionally, you are en route to a doctor's visit. But your insurance company won't cover it? No problem! You may just pay out of your own wallet and go right away, right? Wrong.

Your insurance company is trying to scam you by making YOU pay for the doctor's visit (and everything else) before they'll even give you a diagnosis of what's wrong with you in the first place.

Here are Six ways your health insurance provider is defrauding you, in case you are unaware of them already:

1. They won't cover the cost of your medical treatment.

2. They don't make sure you're getting the care you need, instead they just give you a list of things that could be a problem and hope one or two will turn out to be real problems.

3. They don't help pay for prescription medications, even though you have them on hand in case of emergencies.

4. You might not be covered by your health insurance for all of the treatments you require.

5. Your payments will be too high, and it will cost more than what you could get from a cheaper insurance company.

6. You might not be able to see the doctor you want to see because of their lack of availability/unavailability in your area.
