If you're struggling with medical debt, you're not alone. According to a recent study, medical debt is the number one cause of personal bankruptcy in the United States.

There are a number of ways to get out of medical debt, but it will require some effort on your part. Here are a few tips:

1. Negotiate with your creditors.

If you're unable to pay your medical bills, you may be able to negotiate a lower payment with your creditors. This is especially true if you're able to offer a lump sum payment. Be sure to get any agreement in writing.

2. Refinance your debt.

You may be able to refinance your medical debt at a lower interest rate. This will reduce your monthly payments and help you pay off your debt more quickly.

3. Consider a debt relief program.

There are a number of debt relief programs available that can help you get out of medical debt. These programs can provide you with lower interest rates, reduced monthly payments, or even forgive some of your debt.

4. File for bankruptcy.

If you're unable to repay your medical debt, you may be able to file for bankruptcy. This will discharge your debt and give you a fresh start. However, it's important to note that bankruptcy will have a negative impact on your credit score.

5. Use a medical credit card.

If you have good credit, you may be able to qualify for a medical credit card. These cards offer low interest rates and can be used to pay for medical expenses.

Getting out of medical debt can be a challenge, but it's not impossible. With some effort, you can get your debt under control and start fresh.

when it comes to loan payment of any kind the way out is always to pay back the Loans so it is always good to look for available avenues that can help you get yourself out of the loans.

Like you rightly stated it is always good sometimes to be in contact with the creditor and try to see how you can negotiate a loan payment again.

They should be a reduction in the money to be paid or they will be an extension of the duration of the loan to be paid but in whatever way it will help you to make your payment before time.
